Fucking wind-swept rain. What a bunch of horseshit. Cold. It blows sideways so it gets under the fucking umbrella. Puddles everywhere with all kinds of nasty gunk in them. And the fucking wind can be so damn persistent. STOP BLOWING ALL THE GOTDAM TIME.
On the plus side, I guess rain is good for plants?
As for BJL's observation re Taxis (and we will spend plenty of time discussing taxis), I mostly agree. However, there are two things that immediately come to mind that piss me off: 1) Cab drivers who use their right foot on the gas while SIMULTANEOUSLY keeping their left foot on the break--instant car sickness and 2) Cab drivers who don't know the city, but are adamant that they know where they're going. GAS (and BRAKE) FACE.

worse than the heavy rain is the fucking mud- though i dont expect you have to deal with mud much where you are.

also - it seems to me that in the olden days, people wore galoshes and lon raincoats and big hats that actually protected them from the rain
an umbrella, no matter how big it is, can't do much but make you think you're staying dry
then you sit down at your desk at work and your pants, socks, and shoes are soaked through
